Attending Project Sunshine with Campus Ministries was one of
the best experiences I have had at Iona. During our time at the hospital, I got
the opportunity to participate in an individual room visit, where I spent a couple
of hours one-on-one with a child in their hospital room. Even though she was
sick, the girl that I visited had such a positive attitude, wonderful sense of
humor, and incredible faith, which was truly inspirational to me. This
