Attending Project Sunshine with Campus Ministries was one of the best experiences I have had at Iona. During our time at the hospital, I got the opportunity to participate in an individual room visit, where I spent a couple of hours one-on-one with a child in their hospital room. Even though she was sick, the girl that I visited had such a positive attitude, wonderful sense of humor, and incredible faith, which was truly inspirational to me. This experience has helped me to better appreciate the blessings in my life and and attain a clearer perspective on what truly matters in life.
