Go New Ro 2015: Meet the Leaders!

Campus Involvement:
Social Work Club, American Red Cross Club, , Iona in Mission: Camp Viva Service-Learning, Emerging Leaders Program

Hobbies:
Volunteering at Hope Community Services, sports, baking, mission work

Why do you participate in Go New Ro?
Go New Ro allows a chance to interact with other incoming students as well as students that have been at Iona. Also it allows for amazing friendships and experiences, while becoming familiar with New Rochelle.

Favorite thing about Iona?
The classes are small which allows for a very personal relationship with professors and peers. Also that Iona is community oriented.

Favorite Iona Tradition?
The Gael Gate before all basketball games

Favorite thing to do in New Rochelle?
Going to New Roc City to watch movies or go mini golfing or bowling. I also love spending time with the kids I babysit in New Rochelle.

Student Campus Minister, Go New Ro Student Leader, Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, Student Government Association, RESPECT Committee, Edmund Rice Society, Tara Knights Society, Kairos Retreat Leader, Iona in Mission Washington, DC and Nazareth Farm team member. 

Hobbies: 
Singing poorly, going on adventures, and telling corny jokes.

Why did you participate in Go New Ro? 
To build lasting relationships and help provide a strong foundation for incoming students who will be spending the next four years of their lives in New Rochelle.

Favorite thing about Iona?
The incredibly supportive and tight-knit campus community.

Favorite Iona Tradition? 
Laying on the East Hill with good friends.

Favorite thing to do in New Rochelle?
 Exploring the area and finding fun things to do outside of Iona's campus.
