Over 100 Iona College students, faculty, and staff gathered at 4:00 pm on Monday November 19, in Mulcahy Gym in the Hynes Athletics Center, for the seventh annual Thanksgiving Basket Blessing. This year 119 baskets were donated by various Iona College individuals, clubs, teams, and departments each of whom showed their support by creating their own unique Thanksgiving basket complete with a holiday message to the recipient family.
"Being a part of the delivering the Thanksgiving baskets was a very humbling, yet rewarding experience. The moment we arrived we were able to see the vast amount of appreciation from the community.
